Bankers Insurance retained its best practices agency status for the second year in a row, once again earning membership to an elite group of independent insurance agencies. Less than 5% of all agencies in the United States qualify for this honor. Best practices agency status comes through an annual survey conducted by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (Big “I”) which documents business best practices and urges others to implement similar procedures.
Since 1993, the Big “I” and Reagan Consulting have joined forces to study the country’s leading agencies and encourage best practice adoption. The agencies comprising the study groups are selected through a comprehensive nomination and qualifying process. A best practices agency retains its status by submitting extensive financial and operational data for review each year. To be chosen, Bankers Insurance was among only forty-five top-performing agencies in the category nominated.
“It is clearly a credit to our entire team to be recognized as one of the best agencies in the country,” says Marshall Fleming, President and CEO. “I am proud of the effort required by all to make this happen. Thank you for always keeping our clients first.”
Founded in 1896, the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (the Big “I”) is the nation’s oldest and largest national association of independent insurance agents and brokers, representing more than 25,000 agency locations.
